Suitable Cleaning Agents
Warm water: For minor daily stains, simply soaking and rinsing with warm water is safe and non-corrosive.
Neutral cleaning agents: For stubborn stains, use a diluted neutral cleaner; this gently removes dirt without damaging the material.
Specialized water system pipe cleaners: Use compliant cleaners designed for water system piping to remove algae and limescale deposits from the inner walls.
Prohibited Cleaning Agents
Strongly acidic or alkaline cleaners: These corrode TPE material, compromise its flexibility, and significantly shorten the pipe's service life.
Organic solvents: Such as hydrocarbon-based cleaners or highly aggressive solvents; these can cause the TPE pipe to swell or crack.
Cleaning Precautions
Dilute the cleaning agent thoroughly according to the instructions before use to avoid exposing the pipe to excessive concentrations.
After cleaning, rinse the pipe repeatedly with plenty of fresh water to remove any residue, then allow it to air dry naturally.
